John Ellingsen Interview, 1999.

In this interview John Ellingsen discusses the life and experiences of Ford Bovey, son of Sue and Charles Bovey. He specifically discusses Ford's early years growing up on the Sunnyside Ranch, ten miles east of Greeat Falls; his relationship with his grandmother Rachel Mary Couch, and ranch employees Louise and Paul Sonnack, and Chris Christiansen; his experiences with some of the old cowboys; his experiences during the 1960s and 1970s; his injury in a falling accident; Ford's involvement with Bovey Resotrations; marriage of Marilee Forman and Ford Bovey in 1973; the managers that took over running the business following Charlie Bovey's death; the various property options Charlie offered to John; and the death of Sue Bovey in 1988. Charles Argalis Bovey was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 1, 1907. His parents were Charles Cranston Bovey and Kate Koon Bovey, and his siblings were Martin Koon Bovey and Ruth Bovey Stevens. The Bovey family was part of the Washburn Crosby Milling Corporation, which became known as General Mills.
